John 14: 1-3
1 "Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe in me also.
2 In my Father's house, there are many dwelling places. If there were not, I would have told you. For I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will return again, and then I will take you to myself, so that where I am, you also may be.
Reflection
Jesus is making a place for you in His Father's house. I imagine it as a blissful realm where everyone can indulge in the things they couldn't make time for in their earthly lives.
This sacred place within our Father's heart is a refuge from the burdens we experienced in our temporary life on earth.
I imagine a unique space dedicated to the little ones who departed early in their earthly lives. This room is filled with tender love. Assigned to their room, a special angel who helps the little ones to delight in watching the carefree playfulness of others in God's house.
There will also be a lot of construction because He is always getting a place ready for us.
Visualize yourself as a person inside the elevator, gazing at the rooms.
Can you describe what you think your room in God's house will look like?
In God's house, what do you wish for?
How can you live, feeling at peace, knowing Jesus will be waiting in your room with open arms?
Prayer
Father God, I praise and thank you for taking good care of my loved ones who have entered Your House. I do not need to worry or fear about the future, because I rest in knowing nothing can take away my eternal future. I will live today. I will love today. I will savor the joys of today. All of this for the love of You. I trust you will ready a place for me.
